Gut Health Consumer Study

We are team gut health over at poppi. We are constantly studying the research on gut health and how it impacts our lives. We wanted to see how daily poppi can affect your life so we had a lab conduct a 30 day study on 38 different types of people.

We wanted to learn more about:

  1. the efficacy of Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) in poppi in reducing gas, bloating, heartburn/acid reflux and abdominal pain
  2. the effect of ACV in poppi on bowel movements, by assessment of still frequency and consistency (constipation vs. diarrhea vs. normal)
  3. the efficacy of ACV in poopi in improving skin health (by improving gut health). Healthy, glowing skin starts from the inside.

38 participants drank one 12 fl oz. can of poppi ACV prebiotic soda each day for 4 weeks. Outcome measurement questionnaires were completed at baseline, week two and week four. Here's what we found (it's pretty exciting stuff).

GI Symptoms:

  • 89% of participants reported a significant improvement in upper GI symptoms (stomach pains, bloating, huner)
  • 87% of participants reported a significant improvement in the frequency of upper GI symptoms

Bowel Symptoms:

  • 87& of participants reported a significant improvement in the severity of bowel symptoms (gas, constipation)
  • 79% reported a significant improvement in the frequency of bowel symptoms

Skin Health:

  • 84% of participants reported significantly improved skin health (reduced redness, acne, and hyperpigmentation)
